Coronavirus
13th of March, 2020We know it is a very worrying time for everyone and wanted to reassure all our clients that we will do everything we can to help them through.
We will advise how to access the measures advised in the Budget as soon as the procedures become established and we can help with funding or loan applications and also with Statutory Sick Pay.
New measures may very well be announced but at the moment there are no compromises from HMRC on the table concerning filing deadlines or penalties for late returns or non-compliance so we will continue to work with all our clients to try to ensure that everything is done on time. Please give us your source data as usual so that we can continue. We can use alternative methods for dropping off papers if clients are having to self-isolate or do not want face to face contact.
If we have to self isolate, there is much work that can be done from a home setting and we will still be contactable by email and phone.
We have hand sanitizers in place and can conduct meetings from a 2 metre distance or by Skype. If the worst should happen here, we do have an Alternate Firm with whom we are making arrangements which would provide business continuity.
In the meantime we wish all our clients the very best for this current situation and we hope that by taking sensible precautions everyone will stay safe! Good luck.
