Support during Coronavirus Restrictions
29th of October, 2020Business Closure Fund – offering grants of £2,875 for businesses with premises with a rateable value of up to £51,000 and £4,310 for businesses with premises with a rateable value of over £51,000. These are only available if the business has been required to close. This grant is specifically not available for takeaways and to be eligible the business must have been open and trading before 9 October 2020 and must have a business bank account and operate from premises registered for Non-Domestic rates.
Discretionary Business Hardship Fund – offering grants of £1,440 or £2,155 depending on rateable value of premises. These grants are only available for hospitality businesses or gyms who have been required to operate in a restricted way or for producer/wholesale businesses whose turnover has dropped by at least 25% during the period.
These two grants are of limited application!
