1 April 2020 - Changes to the National Minimum Wage

From 1 April 2020 the National Minimum Wage is changing:

                               Old rates                           New rates

25 and over            £8.21                                   £8.72

21 to 24                     £7.70                                  £8.20

18 to 20                     £6.15                                  £6.45

Under 18                   £4.35                                 £4.55

Apprentice              £3.90                                 £4.15

For Payroll Wk 52 weekly paid employees' hours may need to be split between those hours before 1 April 2020 and hours from 1 April 2020 and payment made at each of the above rates.
